Worst Customer Service Experience

Everybody likely had at least one memorable customer service experience and faced at times with customers who lo and behold will make things difficult for a customer service representative. The question then becomes, how do you deal with this individual?

While working as Business Development Executive, the department received a website design request for their property business with minimal information provided with a 30 days deadline. The web designer was facing difficulty to design the website for the company. I requested the client for a little more information to provide through an email first and then follow up by a telephone call. The client came after three days something with that they don’t have a company name yet and they were not settled on what they would be doing yet. Just design something in red and brown and they would go from there.

The designer sent some better ideas for approval based on very brief instructions. The pattern was ready and already sent to the client for approval. A week later, the client contacted after every day follow up, with a request for redesigning another website for them while reminding to complete their both websites on time. In the last week, the client came up with all the details and asked to copy exactly and demanded to complete the websites on time. There just was not enough time to do all work.

The week was hard not only for web developers but also for me as the client never replied for the call or email yet we met the deadline and completed the projects. The client showed up on the exact day and it was not a surprise that he was not satisfied with the concept and design for the website. He demanded to use new character art, discarded his own provided images and asked to add something of the web developer’s choice. In short, the client always was on things such as change the photo, change the font, and change the colour.  Upon further review of the proof, I spotted the following comments by saying that it hasn't changed. Two months of hard work he finally liked the websites but refused to pay the amount decided for the websites. His demanded that he would not be paying the actual amount as we didn't meet the deadline. The manager was out of the city and I was representing the company on his behalf, adopting the old adage “the customer is always right”, I sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and offered to make maintenance free of charge for a one full year for both of the websites, which was not a part of the contract. This made him calm and complimented the efforts made.

Thus, make your best judgement to understand each customer in order to bring solution for the problem he or she faces.

Cashew to Loss Weight

I started my journey for losing weight, oh I mean Fat Mountain on my body through Cashew nuts. I know it’s expensive as the word "cash" in Cashew show itself as well as packed with lots of calories, but the good news is, they are healthy and can speed up to help you in your weight loss program.

I avoided most of the nuts throughout my life, thought they are high in calories and if Cashew can help me in something that is only to gain more weight. I just started by the way at the time when I was craving to eat something, anything, I was like, give me something to eat, and I didn't find any of my favourite food in the kitchen or around me which is mostly sweets, I remember, I took almost 15 of the pieces and to my surprises I wasn't get hungry for 6 hours, surprising isn't it? Wait. it depend on body how it react against certain diet or exercise, not every diet or even not every exercise is meant for your body. What exercise or a diet plan can work for my body may not work for you. Chances are you may crave for food for less than 6 hours. I bet gradually, your time will increase to crave for food or even not crave at all. I remember once for two days I didn't take anything but that half cup of Cashew, and why not I lose my weight. It was obvious on my way to lose it.

It was a secret that I found and the first thing that I did, is to find out more benefits of Cashew. Let’s have a give a light over those hundreds of benefits that can help you in losing weight. Here are some though,

You will be surprised to know When Cashew is eaten in moderation of about 10 Cashew a day would be approximately 100 calories, can take longer to digest and keeping you full for a longer time thereby preventing binging.

The fat it contains, is considered "good fat".. Ooh lala .. The oil that help us to feel full for a longer period of time. Since it is mono saturated fat and is idea for optimal health. It protects against cardiovascular diseases and also reduces Cholesterol levels and so it is best for diabetic person as well.

Magnesium in Cashew is high in quantity, and we all know that besides calcium, Magnesium is also highly needed for muscles and bones in our bodies. Cashews are then again a good source of Copper too, and Copper helps the human body utilize iron properly, eliminates free radicals and reduces skin and hair pigment called Melanin. Then again, it has a lot of protein and fibre which also helps to feel full for a long time.

Not only that, the thing I liked most is the presence of "Tryptophan" which is responsible for positive mood enhancement, stress relief and healthy sleep.

So, I suggest forget the myth that Cashew are fattening and just start eating them today, eat as you like plain or salted, with pepper or even sugar coated ones. Start as you like, and gradually come to the plain one, because that's what you need, "to reduce weight fast".

Green Tea! Slim you Down

Another Booster you way for losing weight is green tea, that's true believe it or not, but hey! Not just one cup a day, not even think to drink with sugar on, no way...

Again, like all other data on weight loss as well as on exercise, you will find lots of lots of lots of x 1000 data on green tea that how it helps in reducing weight, for me! I just read never tried to implement as they ran through my mind like a rocket or something even faster.

The biggest advantage of green tea is that it prevent storage fat in your body only if you take it on the right time, just one cup without sugar right after your meal will help a lot in reducing your fats, especially from your belly, which are the most dangerous fats in the body. If you see your belly is hanging, you not have to exercise to create muscles but also take at least 4 cups of green tea.

One may not see a huge difference as once can find with exercise or with protein diet, but the more slowly you get rid of fat, the more its good, guess what? It gone forever and can come back only if you change your track to junk food with no exercise.

Green tea slimming diets not only work, but they are full of benefits to your health. Just remember that drinking tea alone won't help and won’t give your miraculous effects. With moderate exercise, and eating healthy especially just a fruit day or vegetable day or combine both can really help a lot and you will see the result just in one month, I bet.

It is very easy to prepare green tea, as compare to other tea; you just hot water, with few leaves of green tea. You can add cinnamon and or cardamom for your taste. I give you another of advantage of cinnamon, It will boost your metabolism level, simply  means to produce more heat which eventually burn fats more as well as you won't feel lazy. Just sprinkle a little and O my lovely God! The taste that energy it gives is so soothing.

Fat Lose Techniques

I always just wonder for the fats where it comes from and make me so ugly even after eating less junk food and lots of walk at home. If I want to eat something I have to think thousand of times. eat or not to eat. Ah! more fats over my body, but then I have to think seriously about pro's and con's when my weight finally reached to 85 kg after two kids with c-section... pretty sad huh!

And I was pretty much like this Monkey. Which is pretty much an excuse.. :)

I looked like a giant monster full of fat and I just hate if somebody said you are not fat.. I was like, O really?
I wish to have a photo of my full fats on. All my cloths looked too tight and even the most beautiful dresses were all ruined it's beauty on my ugly body, Big thighs even the butt or cheeks or the arms... I tell you what? women always talk about weight and probably be you too if you are one among those fat ladies.

This is another photo that motivates me to get rid of those fat, when the first time I saw this photo and immediately I rushed to my privacy and when My tummy looked exactly same or somehow more ugly than the illustration given below.

So, now I am 60 kg, lost around 25 kg, what a merrier, isn't it? It was a dream, to lose those ugly fats and I wished every time whenever I saw people lost their weight by weight loses clinics. I did just nothing, literally not a hard work for me to lose weight yet it took a year to lose it, I will go one by one to give you my ultimate guide for losing weight, so the first rule is to follow. Will you?

When it come to the first problem for the people who are enthusiastic to lose the weight is, they don't follow any diet plan or even exercise, as it should be, because the second problem rises after first problem is, when they see that their weight is same as it was a week ago, they stopped that plan and go for another plan. Yes! they start eating even more than they did before. Here, the problem arises with their ugly head, yep more fats over your body. In one week you cannot lose weight, can you? Well most of the people think just in one day they will lose a weight if they don't eat anything for 24 hours. which is totally wrong, for this we do need to understand some scientific terms such as metabolic rates of our body, we are not discussing anything in one single post and we will come to all our pro's and con's one by and by in order you, to understand what we need to do to look fit and best.

So, the first rule is, do follow whatever plan you have, it takes 3 days to start working any plan you follow either protein diet, or even exercise or even no diet at all or combine both diet plan and exercise which is to me the best way to lose weight fast, yes I mean fast.

Raise the Minorities Rights

Background:
Pakistan constitutes three of the world’s most challenging contexts for securing freedom of religion.
Political transition, though offering opportunities for democratization, has been accompanied in each case by a decline in freedom of religion or belief. Religious minorities are particularly vulnerable in Pakistan.
Religious minorities are specifically targeted for their beliefs and at the same time the discrimination and/or persecution they experience greatly compromises their freedom of religion. Furthermore a culture of impunity exists with regard to human rights abuses.
Recently, On September 22, 2013, two suicide bombers carried out an attack outside of the church, killing 127 people and injuring 170. Around 600 parishioners were on the front lawn of the church, receiving free food, when two explosions occurred, leaving the church scattered with body parts. Victims included an estimated 37 children. This was the second attack on churches in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a year, where another church in Mardan was burnt exactly a year before this incident.

“Many times minorities’ rights are violated in every single way. So, it is very important that journalists do cover and do report on what is happening in minority communities, but they must insure that the reporting that they undertake is free from discrimination. Their rights might be violated through discrimination, but if you report them in the wrong way, their rights are violated again.”  UNICEF CEE/CIS Regional Chief of Communication John Budd

Many journalists have stated that they are not confident when reporting on development issues. Journalists have to adapt to new ways of covering development issues as being the ears and eyes of society and the voices of the voiceless through bottom-up reporting. Indeed, this acclaimed “watchdog” role, report ages on development issues that bring attention to issues that are overlooked or under-represented often only raises awareness of problems.
Nevertheless, significant opportunities exist to improve relations between communities. Civil society is vibrant and active in all provinces of Pakistan, and there are a number of initiatives that aim to improve coexistence.

Aim:
The main purpose is to promote freedom of religion and pluralism in KPK. We aim to challenge discrimination against religious minorities and empower communities to effectively advocate for implementation of their human rights, including their freedom of religion and belief, at local, national and regional levels, and to take action to promote better relations between different religious communities. This program will provide journalists with essential skills and tools to research and produce high quality, high interest stories concerning minority and indigenous peoples and development.

Importance:
The study confirms in particular the challenges facing media reporting on ethnicity and religion where journalists often struggle to balance cultural and religious values and the right to freedom of expression. Journalism can be seen as a human right - right to inform and be informed - but, in the case of hate speech, can be seen as an instrument for human rights violations. Journalism provides means for promoting human rights by:
·         Reporting events where violations occur.
·         Analyzing, interpreting and providing space for commentary on acts of discrimination.
·         generally increasing audiences’ knowledge and understanding of these issues.

Reasons:
 There are several reasons why your society may contain minority communities. These include:
·Ethnic or language groups which were absorbed into your nation when borders were re-drawn, possibly by colonial powers or on independence. Examples of this are the Kurdish minority in Turkey or the Ndebele people in Zimbabwe.
·People who were brought into your country, perhaps centuries ago, either to provide special labour, such as the Indians in Fiji and South Africa or the Chinese and Tamils in Malaysia; or to deal with overcrowding in their home country, such as the Gilbertese in the Solomon Islands; or for some other reason.
·People who have escaped neighboring countries as refugees, such as the Palestinians in Lebanon or the West Irianese in Papua New Guinea.
·People who have come to your country as individuals looking for a better life, such as Afro-Caribbean people in Britain or Italians in Australia.
·Indigenous people who have become a minority in their own land because of migration from elsewhere, such as the Amazonian Indians of Brazil or the Maoris of New Zealand.
·People who have developed separate identities because of their religion, such as the Sikhs in India or the Bahais in Iran.

Methodology:
  1.         Produce and air a thematic radio show series on minority issues.
  2.     Conduct FGDs (Focus Group Discussion), training workshops, community meetings etc. in the major cities for identification of common issues faced by the minorities & to prepare the advocacy plan and strategy accordingly.
  3.     Implement national networking and coalition-building training events in each country for religious minorities, human rights activists and journalists to strengthen collaboration and develop advocacy strategies;
  4.     Deliver an on line training course to strengthen the capacity of activists and journalists;
  5.     Raise awareness of the challenges faced by religious minorities’ via media campaigns, research, reports, round table events and a short film (If applicable);
  6.         Implement activities through civil society organizations to promote better relations between communities;
  7.     Carry out field work supporting minority activists in identifying, monitoring and addressing discrimination;
  8.         Litigate strategic cases;
  9.         Carry out video advocacy campaigns.

Activity/Methodology for A Reading Project

Seminar for Teachers and students “The Changing Concept of Reading”

Reading forms the basis for all other areas of learning, and it is expected for children's success in the process. Children are able to apply reading competencies independently as they try to obtain and utilize information from a variety of sources. Unfortunately, this expectation has not become a realization for many children, and the high rate of illiteracy continues to have adverse effect in many districts. The changing concept of reading, which emphasizes the interactive model, has encouraged a shift from traditional approaches in teaching reading to a greater emphasis on methodologies reflecting cognitive principles.

This seminar will cover the areas of emergent literacy (the literacy behaviour and concepts of young children that precedes conventional reading and writing), and phonemic awareness (the awareness of the sounds) are being emphasized to encourage and accelerate the literacy development of young children. Teachers need to continue to provide these experiences for children when they start their formal education.

The reading process include the application of elements that can enable the reader to achieve the basic function of reading which is communication, and engaging in effective reading as a meaning - getting problem – solving process requiring thinking - and reasoning. These elements include utilizing appropriate strategies to activate prior knowledge, knowing and applying appropriate word identification strategies:

  • ·         Interpreting graphs and illustrations
  •           Making predictions and reading to confirm or refuse them
  •           Monitor linking information to life experiences
  •           Responding to the text.

What, Who, & When in an Action Plan

The simplest definition of an action plan is “action plan is a sequence of steps that must be taken, or activities that must be performed well, for a strategy to succeed. We can simply calculate it in by “3 W’s”. Its sound strange but this is how can it make it an accurate action plan in a less time or can give a simplest idea of how to summarize your project just in few lines.

What:
The first “W” for “What” in your action plan stands for the “agenda”. Let’s suppose say;

What are the criteria for your proposed project?
What changes will occur?
What action will be taken?
What is the methodology for your proposed project? Etc.

Who:

The second “W” for “Whom” in your action plan stands for the “responsibility”.  There must be at least one person responsible for the implementation of the agenda, which look after a project and achieve the target result within the time period proposed for the project. It is also favorite to have a supportive team or even a single person behind each action step.  The only difference is that each supportive person or multiple people are not responsible for the action or outcome. Action steps should be clear, actionable; keeping the right people in the communication loop for each action is crucially important. Key people might need to understand the state of progress around your actions to see how they affect other actions and objectives.

When:

The third and last “W” for “When” in your action plan stands for the “time/period” proposed for the action on any designated project. It is must to complete the project within the limit time frame given for the project. The period proposed for the action could range from one day to one year depend truly upon the project. This time horizon could also indicate the starting date as well as the completion date of the project.

If you work on these three “W’s” it can give accuracy for your project in less timing; thus, save your valuable time which can be utilize in some other activity.

The main purpose is to save time, energy, resources and achieve target goals in an efficient manner. Creating an action plan can also give a clear vision, mission, objective, strategies, target change and methodology for your project.

Strategy for Flash Cards

Flash card teaching strategies are popular with teachers because of their effectiveness. Parents also appreciate the flash card because it is an easy teaching strategy for home. There are several ways to use flashcards for reading. This flashcard teaching strategy, the Constant Time Delay (CTD) technique, is widely used by special and regular education teachers. The CTD strategy can be used easily with flash cards at home to teach any subject. Constant Time Delay has allowed for the multiple exposures necessary for learning and reading.

Strategy to Measure the Success of Improvement through Flash Cards:
Date
Words Read
Errors
Words Correct Per
Minute (WCPM)

Flash cards are a practical tool for learning vocabulary and grammar, the key point is if you look at them regularly. I found them particularly useful when learning any characters. They might have a character, word, phrase or sentence on one side, and a translation, definition and/or notes on the other side. Anybody can make them, one can even buy readymade sets of cards, or there are many use flash card programs such as Anki, Mnemosyne and Supermemo.

Flash card is also considered the quickest way to get just the repetition that you need on just the words that you need to repeat. It is tried and true. Another tip is, it is inexpensive. The best methodology is using index cards or a pack of blank business cards, write the target words and phrases on the cards, putting one language on the front and the other on the back.

As you review the words, going on through the load separate the words into two piles:  those you understand immediately, and those you do not. Keep going through the yet-unlearned words until you accomplish a speedy mastery of them.

Flash cards have many advantages of learning any subject or languages, The crucial rule of learning is to repeat, repeat and repeat again. Once we hear something again and again, we learn it very quickly. I give you an example of one of Pakistan's region, known as “Chitral” a very beautiful and attractive place especially for foreigners in Pakistan. Majority of the population is illiterate and even far from the primary schools for children, but I may surprise you here to say, they know how to speak English, not because they used flash cards but their interaction with foreigners more than national people. The purpose behind this example is, using flash cards help to repeat and this is how you learn anything fast.
